2011 Rose & Thorn Award Press Release

On Sunday, August 14, Blackout Leather Productions held its Annual Rose
& Thorn Awards Ceremony at Courtyard by Marriot in Portland, Oregon.

The Victory Brunch and Rose & Thorn Awards ceremony was well attended and every
winner was pleased to receive the award.  The voting is always very difficult as there are many deserving and hard working people in the community. The community at large nominates people, and businesses into the positions and the BLP board votes on them, with the exception of the community choice award, which is nominated and then voted on by the entire community to determine the recipient for the award.

The Recipients for the Rose & Thorn 2011 Awards are....

Business of the Year....  Eagle Portland
 
Leatherwoman of the Year... Ms. Julie Spanks

Leatherman of the Year... Scott Philips

Community Choice Award of the Year…Little Nikki Lev
