MISSION STATEMENT

Blackout Leather Productions in a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization comprised of volunteers from Oregon & SW Washington's leather community. We are not a membership-based organization.  BLP is honored to own the Mr. & Ms. Oregon State Leather titles and a proud participant in organizing Oregon's Leather Pride Week in August of each year.

Formed in 1997 by a prominent group of Portland Leathermen to revive the Oregon State Leather titles, BLP has returned to the community tradition of serving and supporting Oregon's expanding sexual minorities communities through fund-raising and other events.

Our stated purpose is to promote the welfare, health and education of the Gay & Lesbian Leather/SM/fetish community and to eliminate prejudice against that community.
